ZOOF is a fictional bike-sharing brand created for my hometown, a place known for scenic cycling routes and strong local character. Inspired by the Dutch word “zoef,” which means the sound of something swiftly passing by, the brand identity captures movement and energy.
The goal was to create a bold, accessible brand that resonates with everyday users and connects with the local community. Designing movement visually was the biggest challenge, but after exploring different directions, I found a balance between structure and playfulness.
The result is a dynamic and versatile identity that translates across various formats, from bike designs to posters and app screens. Colors reflect local elements such as the yellow of wheat fields and the red of brick houses, while typography and patterns maintain a modern and energetic feel.
